About Us

While Moore’s Mill Eyecare opened its doors to patients in early 2015, Dr. Olive has been residing with his family in the Moore’s Mill area for over 25 years and has been serving patients in the Auburn, Opelika, Lee County area all along. Dr. Olive is known for his passion to care for and educate his patients, and it was his vision to one day open a practice in this community, offering that same level of care and service that he is known for. Today, this experience extends throughout the entire office and optical experience, and even further locally and globally.

“Vision for Hope” was the final piece of his vision for Moore’s Mill Eyecare~ a resource to serve our community through professional skills and resources, and then globally through vision clinic trips in developing countries. To date, many community organizations, programs, clubs and individuals have benefitted from Vision for Hope, and two trips to Uganda have served close to 800 people with free eye health assessments, vision screenings and glasses. All of this would not be possible without our wonderful, loyal patients, customers, friends and family. We thank you for supporting and trusting Moore’s Mill Eyecare with your care!
